Sometimes stamps sets just seem made for each other. While perusing my collection of current stamp sets, I had a thought about one older and one new set, Rustic Crate and Country Flowers. And here is the result:
Now initially I had a different bouquet in the milk jug. The leaves in the background of my original flowers matched some of those "growing" in the window box. But the bouquet was a little dinky for the jug. So I changed them out for this lovely grouping. Of course, then my idea of how they coordinated flew out the window, but I still like the card. 😄
All the images were stamped with Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Stampin' Blends. Then each was cut with the coordinating dies.
The background paper is one of my new favorites - Country Woods. This gorgeous collection of wood-themed papers in a variety of colors will go with just about anything!
And of course, I had to bring in two new In Colors - Peach Pie and Pretty in Pink. Such fun!
Have you found any new stamp sets that seem to be made for an older one?
