Fortunately that is NOT the case for my sister and her husband, who are celebrating their 38th anniversary today. So I wanted to be sure to send them a beautiful card commemorating the occasion:
I love the shades of blue with the white! Just a classic look. And what about that "net" background; do you recognize it? If I turned it over it would be gold - the beautiful Forever Gold Laser Cut paper. I love that I can turn it over and use the white side.
A card this special needs lots of layers! So in addition to the card base, I used a triple stack of cardstock - Whisper White, Night of Navy and Pool Party. And then the Forever Gold (white side up) DSP. These layers were stacked and before adding to the card base, I wrapped some white Flowers For Every Season ribbon around them.
Then came the greenery - lots of ferns! I used the Forever Flourishing dies to cut Night of Navy, Pool Party and Vellum pieces, then stacked them on the card. And finished it with a bow.
