Day 2 of Christmas Cards

Yesterday I told you about a class I had with some employees of a local business.  We made 8 Christmas cards, and here's the second one:

A class favorite, it was not too hard for the beginning stamper, yet had some cute elements that even those with experience loved.

We started with a Shaded Spruce base, and added a layer of Whisper White that had taken a trip through an embossing machine to give added texture.

Using the Pine Tree Punch made the detail on this card easy!  Just a quick punch of a Whisper White square, added over some Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper, made a super focal point!

Our sentiment from Christmas Rose was stamped on a label cut with the Roses dies, and a second one was cut using Shaded Spruce; we cut this one in half, "spread" it apart and adhered it to the back of our white label, creating a nice border.

This card went together quickly, but was definitely a hit with everyone:

Smiles all around!
