Picture Puzzles

When my husband and I got a wonderful, and unexpected, opportunity to have a visit with two of our grandsons, we jumped at the chance.  These boys live in Maryland, and we live in California.  So imagine our surprise when we found out that their other grandparents would fly back to pick up the boys and bring them to Southern California, and all we had to do was drive south to get them for a week.  Yea!

Now since we were going to be in So Cal anyway, we decided to make it a special trip.  We booked a Disney vacation, including a stay at the Disneyland Hotel.  And we didn't tell the boys until we were arriving at the hotel.  Such a great surprise!

We also invited my daughter and her son (from San Diego) to join us, so we would have the 3 little cousins together.  What a special time for us.

To commemorate our trip, I decided to send them a special "card".  Take a look:

A puzzle!  Isn't that cute?

Using the Puzzle Pieces Thinlits dies I was able to create a puzzle from a photo of the boys.

I started by adhering the photo to a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock, using the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.

Then I simply cut the photo with the largest thinlit.

Of course I had to package it up:

What better than to use the Mini Pizza Box?

I took another copy of the photo and adhered it to the top of the box, and I was done!  Just pulled apart the puzzle and placed it inside.

With a tag made from the Love You to Pieces stamp set, I was ready to mail off my special gift.

Want to make your own darling puzzles?  The Love You To Pieces set is bundled with the dies for a 10% savings.  What better time to purchase?
