Got Treats?

Time for Halloween treats, and I have a VERY easy project for you, using retired Designer Series Paper.  Because who doesn't have retired DSP?

I like to make little treats for my work colleagues, and this is super simple:

These little diaper fold treat pockets come together in no time.  So if you still need to make a few treats, let me show you how; pull up a seat, grab a cup of tea, and let's create.

Start with a piece of DSP that is 8" x 8", scored on the diagonal:

Fold on the score line, using a bone folder to get a crisp crease:

Fold the lower right corner across to the front of the paper, keeping the top edge straight:

Crease with your bone folder:

Now bring the lower left corner across the front, keeping the top edge straight:

Make a sharp crease, using your bone folder:

Now, just fold the top flap (only the front piece) down:

Use your bone folder one more time to make a sharp crease; this is what holds your pocket together with no adhesive.

Now pinch the sides together lightly:

And you have a nice pocket for your treats; just decorate:

I stamped the Labels to Love on Whisper White and Very Vanilla cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Each label was punched, using the Everyday Label Punch:

The labels were mounted on Layering Ovals of Tangerine Tango, Lemon Lime Twist or Berry Burst, and each had a Basic Black base.  I simply finished with the Black Mini Sequin Trim and Vintage Crochet Trim, along with an Enamel Shape or Black Rhinestones.

Just add treats:

Happy Haunting!
