Time for Wine!
I recently participated in a blog hop with a holiday theme (see it
here) and for my last project I decided to dress up some wine bottles for gift giving.

Let's look a little closer:
Here's a tag all decked out in Christmas finery! I cut the basic bottle tag from
Emerald Envy card stock. Although hard to see, there is a very pretty filigree gold layer and then the circles for the tag.
This bottle tag is very clever! In addition to the part that goes around the neck of the bottle, there are slots to feed the ribbon through. I used
Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon along with some
Gold Sequin Trim. My tag is stamped using
Emerald Envy and
Real Red Stampin' Write Markers; the
Whisper White and Emerald Envy layers are cut using the
Layering Circles framelits, and then the larger red circle was cut using the new
Stitched Shapes framelits. So fancy!
But let's not forget the
other holiday--here's a bottle to celebrate New Years:
I put a "dress" on this bottle--wrapped it in
Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper and placed it in a
6" x 17" Gusseted Cellophane Bag. Then added this tag:
All silver and pink for the new year! Same tag set and framelits, but this time I only used the tag shape (no neck opening) and tied it on with the
3/8" Glitter Ribbon in Sweet Sugarplum (this comes in a package of two spools--one in pink and the other silver). The tag was embossed in
Silver and there's a banner of
Silver Foil.
