Here's a card from our September Card Club, a simple, yet elegant card for any occasion. I used it as a birthday card, and feel it would be perfect for that man in your life who doesn't want frills and bows:
Not quite a single layer card, this starts with a
Mossy Meadow card base, with a layer of
Pear Pizzazz. Then comes
Whisper White, on which is stamped the many leaves from the beautiful
Vintage Leaves set. They were stamped in
Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive and
Mossy Meadow ink.
The sentiment, from
Petite Pairs was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White and cut out with the
Leaflets Framelits.
Popped up on
Dimensionls, and then a knot of (retired)
Mossy Meadow Striped Satin Ribbon was adhered with a
Mini Glue Dot.
The beauty of this card is that it can be used for many occasions; I needed a sympathy card, and used the exact same set, layout and colors, only changing the sentiment for another one from Perfect Pairs.
Beautiful, classy, all occasions...doesn't get much better than that!
